First Kyudo World Cup – Team competition – The results
Twenty countries from all over the world have partecipated to the event. The first three placement are:
- Gold Medal: France
- Silver Medal: UK
- Bronze Medal: Finland
In the semifinal the winner team placed a fantastic 12 hitting on 12 shooting that means that all the three archers have paced in the target all the arrows they shooted (in Japanese this is called Kaichu). Congratulation to the winners. Good also the 4th position of Italy.
In the picture you can see the first and second place final between UK (on the left) and France (on the right)

The team were not the only shooters! What about the others who went through the ordeal? Mudan through Godan?

It’s true. There were also individual competition from Mudan to sandan and a individual competition for yondan and above. I will write an article soon.
For yondan and above 2 archers passed the qualification hitting the target with 2/2 arrows. The winner was Felix Hoff from Germany and the second was Cluade Luzet from france.
For mudan-sandan there where 3 kydoka qualified. Unfortunately I didn’t toke note of the number and I have to recuperate the name of the winner…
